Dunfermline Delivers seeks to be a dynamic and positive force for change in Dunfermline for local businesses and the local community.

Reporting to the Board through the Chairman, the BID manager will be required to positively influence a range of public and private sector partners and to collaborate effectively with these partners and local businesses to deliver a better deal for businesses in the Dunfermline BID area. The BID Manager is responsible for management of the BID company and for delivering on the business plan of Dunfermline Delivers which is focused on a range of improvements for the retail, leisure, daytime and evening economy and generally ensuring a vibrant town centre with increased footfall encouraged through a range of projects. The role will require a close working relationship with the Dunfermline First events manager, ensuring that levy payers maximise on the economic impact of the planed calendar of festivals and events through-out the year. The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate excellent communication and negotiating skills, and a central part of the role will be communicating and working with the local BID levy payers to understand and respond effectively to their needs and aspirations for the area and their businesses. A key requirement of the role will be to source additional external funding and sponsorship to enhance activity and to ensure the long term sustainability of the BID company delivering effectively on the agreed business plan.

Remuneration will be commensurate with experience.
