New Business Plan Unveiled at Dunfermline Delivers AGM (22/01/2013)

Dunfermline Delivers gets set to host its Annual General Meeting (AGM) which will review Dunfermline Delivers’ activity and financial statement for the financial year April 2011/March 2012 and will allow for the election of directors to the board. 

Following the business at the AGM Dunfermline Deliver’s updated strategic objectives will be discussed alongside the firm’s pioneering Going Green initiative.

Maggie Mitchell, Chief Executive at Dunfermline Delivers, said: “We are looking forward to welcoming as many BID Members as possible at this year’s AGM.

 “Following the AGM we are excited to be announcing our Dunfermline Going Green initiative which we hope to see Dunfermline businesses embrace and get ahead of the new Waste (Scotland) Regulations coming into effect in 2014 and will make the city a successful ‘Going Green’ case study.

 Partly funded by Zero Waste Scotland, Going Green will see Dunfermline Delivers join forces with Binn Waste Management, Junk Away Recycling and Secureshred Scotland to provide a competitive range of services.The organisation’s recent campaigns have focused on revitalising the city centre, and have included the hugely successful Bruce Festival, one of Fife’s best free events, the Dunfermline Fireworks, Dunfermline Winter Festival and Dunfermline Live.

 Dunfermline Delivers unveiled its new brand, Dunfermline – connecting with you in September - which will now underpin all its efforts to promote the city as a business, tourism and lifestyle destination.


The AGM will take place on Thursday 30 January at 5.30pm in the Dunfermline City Chambers, Kirkgate, Dunfermline, KY12 7ND  .
