Road

Taxi

Dunfermline has several taxi firms and taxi ranks. The main taxi ranks in Dunfermline are located on Carnegie Drive, Queen Anne Street, St. Margarets Street and at Dunfermline Town train station. 

Rail

Dunfermline has two stations on the central Fife rail network, linking into the wider national rail network via Inverkeithing and Edinburgh’s Waverly Station.

Dunfermline Town Station is just a 10 minute walk from the city centre providing a quick and convenient travel link of around 20 minutes for those that would like to visit Scotland’s current capital Edinburgh and its ancient capital Dunfermline in the same day.

Bus

The bus station is located on Queen Anne Street a couple of minutes from the High Street. The bus station acts as a travel hub for local and national travellers.

It takes just over an hour to get to Dunfermline from Glasgow’s Buchannan Street station and around 30 minutes to travel to Stirling.

By Air

Dunfermline is twenty minutes away from Edinburgh’s International airport. Shuttle buses run every 30 minutes and link the airport to Dunfermline and Inverkeithing Ferrytoll Park and Ride.
