What is diet catering and how does it work?

A rational diet, in addition to maintaining normal body weight, also protects against the occurrence of diet-related diseases, such as type II diabetes, obesity, atherosclerosis, hypertension. However, our lifestyle does not always allow us to prepare a meal from scratch on our own. Then, diet catering, the so-called "box diet", comes to our aid. This is a specially prepared set of meals by nutritionists, which are delivered to the client's home.

The diet is composed according to the individual needs and expectations of the client. A dietician conducts a dietary interview with the client, during which they find out about his or her taste preferences, allergies or diseases.  Based on the information obtained, a set of 5 dietetic meals is arranged, which are then delivered to the client's home or work. Diet catering is a perfect solution for busy people who have no time to count calories or prepare nutritious meals.

The services of diet catering and nutritionist can be used by anyone whose goal is not only to lose weight, but also to eat healthy. A nutritionist also prepares individually prepared diets for people suffering from allergies, food intolerances or other diseases of the digestive and circulatory systems. The offer also includes a special nutritional programme for athletes and pregnant women. We make every effort to ensure that meals are as varied as possible and contain healthy, high nutritional value products. For this purpose, to prepare meals we use, among others:

Gluten-free flours (millet, rice, amaranth, chickpea)

Gluten-free flours are an excellent alternative to flours made from grains containing gluten (e.g. wheat, rye, barley, oats), i.e. plant protein, which can cause allergy or intolerance in some people.

Goji berries

Currently more and more popular due to their valuable properties. Goji berries, among others, support weight loss, thanks to the fact that they contain many valuable nutrients, are low in calories and are characterized by a large amount of fiber, which is extremely important in the weight loss process. They are a very good source of protein, carotenoids, linoleic acid and vitamins. They have been used for over 2500 years in Asian countries, in natural medicine they are used to treat rheumatism, diabetes, regulate cholesterol levels, blood pressure, heart function, cleanse the liver, improve fertility or eyesight.


Called the grain of the XXI century, it used to be the basis of nutrition of the Aztecs, Incas or Mayans. Today it is increasingly used. Amaranth is an excellent source of protein with high biological value, it is also rich in vitamins (A, B, C, E) and easily digestible minerals (iron, calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium). Particularly noteworthy is iron, the amount of which is greater than in wheat, spinach or even meat. Amaranth seeds are also rich in unsaturated fatty acids, which reduce the risk of atherosclerosis and other cardiovascular diseases. Due to the high content of fiber it has a beneficial effect on bowel function. It also exhibits anti-cancer properties due to its high content of antioxidants.

Coconut oil

Coconut oil is extracted from the flesh of the coconut, it is widely regarded as the healthiest oil. Despite the fact that it contains mainly saturated fatty acids (90%), when consumed in moderation it can provide many benefits. Among other things, it boosts metabolism, thus helping to lose body fat, does not contribute to the formation of cholesterol deposits, shows antibacterial, antiviral and antifungal properties, has anti-inflammatory effects, and also protects against cancer.


Flax seeds contain omega-6 fatty acids, phytosterols and vitamin E, ascorbic acid, enzymes, they are also rich in minerals such as magnesium, iron and zinc. Due to its high nutritional value it supports weight loss, is also used in peptic ulcer disease, bronchitis and skin diseases.It accelerates the regeneration of mucous membranes and epidermis, as well as lowers lipid and blood sugar levels.

Himalayan salt

Himalayan salt has a color from white to light pink and dark red, is mined in Pakistan. It is healthier than other salts and has remarkable health-promoting properties. Apart from sodium it also contains other microelements such as magnesium, zinc, calcium and iron.


Xylitol or sugar alcohol is a healthier substitute for regular sugar. It can be produced from trees, such as birch, but can also be extracted from an industrial process that converts plant fibres called xylan into xylitol. Xylitol has a very low glycemic index and does not cause spikes in blood sugar and insulin levels, it also contains 40% fewer calories than white sugar.


Carob or locust bean gum is a valuable substitute for cocoa and sugar. It contains many minerals such as manganese, copper, iron, calcium, potassium, magnesium and selenium. Apart from that it contains vitamins valuable for our health: A, B, and vitamin D. It prevents osteoporosis, reduces the risk of colon cancer. Moreover, it improves digestion, can be helpful in treating allergies, asthma, has expectorant effect and lowers blood pressure.
